Families First
Families First is a national FCCLA peer education program that assists youth in gaining and a better understanding of how families work and learn skills to become strong family members. Even though there is no particular order to the unites, "Families Today" is a great place to begin!
The program goals are to:

strengthen the family as a basic unit of society and

help youth become strong family members and leaders for today and tomorrow.
The Families First program address four topic areas:
FAMILIES TODAY (understand and celebrate families);
YOU-ME-US (strengthen family relationships);
MEET THE CHALLENGE (overcome obstacles together);
BALANCING FAMILY AND CAREER (manage multiple responsibilities);
PARENT PRACTICE (learn to nurture children).
