Post-Secondary Partners

As society grows more complex so do the jobs that are held by individuals. As members of a career and technical student organization such as FCCLA, members are most likely training and developing technical skills related to specific industries. 

Nevertheless, post-secondary institutions are essential for our members to obtain the level of education they desire so they can be achieve a quality level of life while being passionate about what is is they do for work. The education our members seek to obtain may be certificate programs, Associate degrees, two-year technical degrees or traditional four-year degrees.

Provides the Iowa Association with sponsorship.

 

In addition they provide the following in-kind donations:

  • accounting/tax preparation services;

  • facility for Board of Directors meetings;

  • groceries for Culinary Arts competition; and

  • evaluators.

Provides the Iowa Association with sponsorship.

 

In addition they provide the following in-kind donations:

  • workshop presenters;

  • registration packets/pencils;

  • lanyards;

  • support with Say Yes to FCS campaign.

Provides scholarships for our state winners in the areas of:

culinary arts;

sports nutrition;

entrepreneurship;

hospitality/tourism; and

fashion design.

Provides scholarships to each member of the top three Culinary Arts teams:

1st - $2,000

2nd - $1,500

3rd - $1,000

If members attend CIA and maintain a 3.0 GPA, the scholarships are renewable.
